The OBHA Independent Leaseholder Group is made up
of 'Leaseholders who have Orbit Bexley Housing Association as their
landlord. The committee is elected by you and their purpose is to serve you
and ensure that your properties are managed properly. The various Housing
Acts confer on us certain rights and responsibilities, we are all too aware
of our responsibilities and that is to pay for services we receive through
our annual service charge but when we feel that the service delivery from
our landlord isn't what it should be then we have the right to complain. We
have explained elsewhere in this site of how this 'Group came to be formed
and it is for that reason we need to complain until we receive true value
for money from OBHA. Your committee holds meetings in a private room at the 'Running Horses' public house in Erith usually on Thursday nights, our meetings are open to any OBHA 'Leaseholder whether you have a problem, need a question answered, if you want to get involved or just want to join us for a drink then you are most welcome to come along.
